Nepal appoints new living goddess


Being a “kumari”, the living goddess, is a honor for the Nepalese; especially provides a financial support for her parents until she leave this status.

When I saw the news report at the first moment I thought this 3-year-old girl was so fortunate, but afterwards I realized it’s a tragedy for such a little girl. A kumari couldn’t show her smile to others until her first menses comes, that is the time she has to relieve responsibility and back to a normal life.

Somehow it’s not easy to get normal for a ex-kumari, because of her respectful status always keeps everyone away from her and hard to find a man to marry her, so it could leads those adorable girls a lonely life. Instead being a wealthy but restrained and unhappy bird in a cage, I’d rather to be an unrestrained wild cat that I can live my own life at least.

I have to retake an oral training course this semester, and I’m in the class of a handsome teacher-Tim Alan.
Well, he’s like an artist a little bit I think, one of my favorite singers, Maroon 5.



To tell the truth, most of time I’m just like the lion in “the Wonderful Wizard OZ”, I have no guts to do many things, although everyone around me encourage me that I can do it, I just cannot conquer myself.

Okay, let’s not beat around the bush. All I wanna say is his gentle teaching style make me feel carefree and not afraid of speaking English.

It just reminds me the two oral classes last semester, one of the teachers is Paul, and another is Jeff. Although I didn’t make a lot of speech or to speak English very well in Jeff’s class, but after all I could conquer myself to speak out. Somehow when I was in Paul’s class I couldn’t even say a word under such a stressful atmosphere!

Well, unexpectedly that to decided to retake this course could be a good decision eventually.

I think humanities education is important for each person.

I can’t agree more what the above says “it gives people a deeper understanding of the world”.

Literature is like a flavoring of life that inspires our emotion and imagination, history establishes a model of ethical and experiences, and philosophy teaches us the real wisdom of life.

If only concentrate on getting benefit and to do nothing with self-discipline by a man, won’t he/she just being like a robot or a making-money machine?

(issue) 2nd life

I’ve downloaded this game and played it for a while, but it seems a little bit difficult for me to understand how to "play this game". =_=

so I spent almost 5 hours to design my clothes and appearance, it’s just what girls like…yeah, just like playing Barbies! lol

A kind-hearted person taught me how to get to other maps, so fortunately I escape from the small boring new-born village & got to a new place.

Then I saw many people gathering in an out-door square, and surprisingly I heard they’re talking by mic! 0_0

Wow! It just feels like I’m abroad!

There’s Americans, Italians, English… well, more nationalities I guess.

Please forgive me that I only found out it’s a good place to practice English chatting. @_@

But after seeing the videos that controduced about 2nd life on YouTube, I think if time & money don’t permit,
it would be a practicable way to guide children to many world famous sight-seeing places on Second Life online game.

(journal) Rehearsal of the play-West Side Story

I was so honored to be the actress of our graduated performance, and we really had lots of fun in summer time.

Although we all know the day of the formal play (12/17) is getting closer & closer, somehow there’s still many problems that shouldn’t happen but continue to happen.

Many actors/actresses would laugh-out when forget the lines, and "somebody" always can’t get on track, it’s hard for me to get into the play when looking at a face(or hearing the tone) without any emotion...

Alright, I must stop complaining, and it’s not my type…>_<

so I'd like to praise Anita & Baby john, they're really good at acting!

By the way, actually I like Miss Saigon better than West Side Story, the significance of the tears is much more valuable than a "3-days love story", right? @_@

Melamine is one chemical composition that produce plastic products and prohibited used in food, it'll be harmful to health (it may cause kidney stone) if people eaten melamine by mistake.

China’s serious risky food has been notorious for years, we already know that many unethical manufacturers uses cheap ingredients to get huge profits before, such as the soy-bean sauce made by hair, and the tea leaf with pesticide that go over the limit… it's really disgusting!

I've heard many people said China tends to be the leader of the world in a few years, and it’s true that China’s economy has made a progress in these recent years, but I think it’s nothing urgent but improving their citizen’s conscience first.
